We’re starting the season with the most important feature of the latest seasons of NFL Manager; new EVENTS and SUPERSTARS! In particular, we’re going to take advantage to celebrate the 100 years of NFL! In these events you can participate in different game modes during a specific amount of time and win SUPERSTARS!
All SUPERSTARS will have an additional bonus on their value and you can only win them in these events. The bonus will be a minimum of 15%, and this percentage depends on their position, their level and the league level of your team. Any player can become a Superstar, but you must first have that player on your roster. The more you play, the more chances you will have to sign them.
Once you enter the game, you’ll notice that we’ve changed the Home screen a bit, with a new section only for EVENTS. When you enter that section you’ll see all of the events that will take place throughout the month, and little by little, they’ll be activated, completed and eventually removed from the screen. On the bottom part of the screen you can also find a mini game that you’ll need to play to win “GP TROPHIES”, which are what allow you to register for each active event.
As soon as you’re registered for an event, you’ll have to choose a lineup according to the conditions shown. If you don’t have enough players to register, you can get a Temporary Players Pack which will give you the players necessary to participate in the event. Once you have your lineup, you can participate in that kind of game mode for that event. As you win matches or move up to the following rounds, you’ll earn “CUPS” which will fill up the Cups bar. Once that bar is filled up, you’ll get a reward in the form of a “TEMPORARY PLAYER”, which you can use up until the end of that specific event. So, these temporary players will not form part of your roster, but they will only be available to help you be more competitive during the specific event.
Each time an event in which you participated has ended, you’ll receive the corresponding rewards (the temporary players that you get will convert into rewards in relation to the categories of the players received).
Throughout the month you’ll keep receiving rewards in the form of “SHIRTS” of different colors which will allow you to sign “Superstars”, a special level for any player. The only way to get this kind of player is through the events.
Below you’ll see the new concepts of the EVENTS feature:
THEME OF THE MONTH: Each month there will be a specific theme on which the Events will be based. To start, we’ll be celebrating the 100 years of NFL.
EVENTS: On the main screen there will be different events that will be activated for a specific amount of time.
LINEUP FOR EACH EVENT: In each event you’ll have a different lineup since each event will require different players from different players depending on the type of event.
PLAYER FATIGUE IN EVENTS: The players that you have in your lineup for each event will get tired each 10 games that you play, so you’ll have to wait for those players to recover to keep using them in the event.
CUPS: By participating in different game modes, you’ll receive “CUPS” to fill up the Cups bar. When you fill up the bar, you’ll receive a temporary player as a reward.
TEMPORARY PLAYERS: These players will help you improve your lineup during the specific event and you can use them until that event has ended. These players do not belong to your roster, since once the event has ended, they will convert into rewards according to the category of that player (colored shirts, cash, coins, renewal days, etc.)
COLORED SHIRTS: These colored shirts will allow you to access the prizes of the month, which are nothing other than “SUPERSTARS”, with an added bonus on their value. The more colored shirts you accumulate, the better players you can sign.
